My Daddy used to call me every night and ask me what kind of day did I have ... I would almost always answer: "I didn't fall down and I didn't throw up" ... we would laugh and together say; "Well then it's been a really good day!" I have so many wonderful memories and have been so fortunate to have chosen to live close to my parents. We were not only Parent and Child, but we were friends. Although they are gone now ... I still talk to them every day and feel their presence in my life.
When asked: "If you could go back and change anything in your life, what would it be?" I have to honestly say nothing ... I wouldn't want to be anyone other than who I am today and to get here I had to experience all the things in my life.
So when I step back and look at my life; I smile at the person I've become and the direction my life is heading. I am blessed with so many wonderful people in my life that makes up my chosen family and friends.
